Jardim Rodizio Review

Jardim Rodizio

Recently, we were lucky enough to receive an invitation to the amazing South American Jardim Rodizio restaurant, located in the centre of Altrincham. The service we received was one of our best so far and they made our meal very enjoyable. They were happy to take our coat to their cloakroom which was very helpful and seated us at one of the best tables in the house.

The interior design of the restaurant is beautiful and very well presented. It fits well with their South American style and enhances your dining experience. Not to mention there are plenty of instagramable posts!

They have plenty of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits to choose from and are happy to provide any recommendations if you are stuck for choice. They also have a deal on currently where you receive a free G&T if you share and tag them on your social media! What a great offer so dont miss-out.

The lunch menu costs £25 per person and includes 7 courses of the various meat with an amazing starters/sides bar known as the Farmer’s Table,  that you can help yourself to and take as much as you would like. The dinner menu costs £40 and includes everything from the dinner menu with an additional 4 meat courses. They also offer a delicious range of hot side dishes that you can order to your table.

If you are vegan or vegetarian then don’t worry because they have 6 different main dishes for you to choose from as well as options from the side dishes and Farmers Table. If you have any allergies everything is clearly labelled on the menu and you will also be provided with a more detailed allergies menu.

We picked a range of options from the Farmer’s table including different types of cheese, cut meats, salads, chutneys and vegetables which were all very flavorful and a great refreshing mix of food to have before the main event starts.

We were treated to the 11-course dining experience with a selection of side dishes to try. We managed to make it to 10 but were defeated by the generous amounts from the previous courses. It was great to try the Picanha which is the most famous cut in Brazil and I would describe it as a more flavourful type of beef which I really enjoyed.

We requested for all of our beef to be cooked to a medium rarity and it was done beautifully.

I also really enjoyed the marinated chicken thighs and chorizo sausage, they had amazing flavours!

The pork collar was a slice of unique meat to try as it is marinated in honey and cinnamon, which was a new experience for me but very tasty.

Even though meat defeated us there is always room for dessert. We ordered the chocolate marquise to share and there was plenty for both of us. I would definitely recommend this dish and I would describe it as a chocolate and caramel cheesecake served with a selection of berries and chocolate sauce!

After the dining experience, we were given a tour of the terrace area which serves as an indoor/outdoor space which is beautifully decorated and fitted with heaters and a removable cover so it’s perfect for any weather. This is a great space for any larger bookings and special events.
